Here is our ‘bulb room’ in mid-October. We like to offer things like Narcissus in open bushel baskets, so that our customers can hand select each bulb. This year, we were fortunate to offer a few less common, specially- imported-just-for-us varieties. Narcissus ‘Toto’ is a charming near-white miniature that looks great planted in grass. ‘Katie Heath’ has fat pink/salmon cups on a sturdy stem that stays short. The outer petals/perianth is white. ‘February Silver’ has elegant elongated white trumpets and a white outer ring of petals. Next year, be sure to try some of the more obscure Narcissus, as they are easy and truly perennial.
