Wow – what beautiful foliage ! We have a good stock of Arisaema consanguineum ‘The Perfect Wave’ and ‘Silver Seas’ in stock right now (late July). I have grown these selections for the last three years out in Langley, BC. and they have proven to be extremely hardy. They actually don’t even emerge until early July ! Fantastic foliage in my favourite shades of celadon green – with spathe-like ‘ flowers’ on 2′ stems . the umbrella-like leaves rise to 3′ or more, and have ‘rain tips’ that extend off of the leaves to shed water. Arisaemas like a bit of shade, but not darkness. A ‘broken light’ is perfect – under a Japanese maple etc. Little plantlets are produced at the base of the mother tuber every year, so you will soon have a clump. Large blooming plants are $40.00 .
