THOMAS HOBBS “BEL’OCCHIO COLLECTIONS’

WOW -  it is already bulb time !   With hundreds of varieties to choose from, I put together these two beautiful, exclusive collections to make gift giving and colour-coordinating super easy !!  The ‘dark’ collection features a fantastic new BLACK TULIP called ‘BLACK JEWEL’ !!  (We don’t have any to sell except in these collections) – it is so fab ! A fringed black beauty .  I put six of these with six ‘BLACK PARROT’ tulips and six of the unusually inky blue hyacinth ‘PETER  STUYVESANT’.  And, to make it an amazing bargain for  $19.99 per kit, I added  in 12 big blue Anemones !!   All of these bulbs are very hardy and super easy to grow in full sun. All the bulbs are top size and hand chosen for picky , picky me.

The ‘Soft Tones’ collection contains a real treasure : Narcissus ‘KATIE HEATH’ . This dwarf Narcissus is my #1 favourite, and good luck trying to find it for sale – anywhere else.  It has a chubby little cup in a soft flesh shade and wide, reflexing petals. It is later to bloom and looks amazing with the (also included) 12 soft blue Muscari  ‘VALERIE FINNIS’ . This is a pale, pale faded denim blue version of the common Grape Hyacinth .  It is a million times nicer and a zillion times less common !  This kit also includes six bulbs of the giant ‘Summer Snowflake’ , LEUCOJUM  ’GRAVETYE GIANT’ . This is a seldom seen 20″ tall snowdrop look-a-like that blooms in mid-summer. It is also hard to find. And, twelve of my favourite little crocus ‘BLUE PEARL’ are here. also. This is a very beautiful and  ‘wild-looking’ small crocus. It has pearly/sheen petals in a very pale silvery blue, unlike any other. A gem for February cheer.  So just imagine these together in your own garden or patio pots – then buy it for a friend as well !
