We have hundreds of freshly potted rose bushes for sale – right now. With two out of three of our rose suppliers going out of business last year, there are gaps in rose availability that will never be filled. The downturn in the U.S. economy is far reaching and has devastated the nursery industry. No new home construction= no new planting. Fortunately, Canada has fared a bit better and we are looking forward to a great Spring season !
You may want to look up each variety online, to see pictures and get specific information . Currently in stock are the following varieties, but all are subject to prior sale and not guaranteed to be here for your arrival. The best selection is always in February and March. If you don’t see the name of the rose you want, we do not have it and cannot get it this year. The exception is David Austin Roses , which are coming soon !

One of our most anticipated shipments of the year arrived this week – the hybrid Hellebores from Ernie and Marietta O’Byrne of Eugene, Oregon. Most gardeners are well aware of the hellebore family of plants, and there are many fantastic strains around. It is these ones, though, that the keenest of the keen wait for. The variety of colours, both in single and double-flowered types is much more interesting than other growers. I always think I can resist ‘another one’ , but usually give in. The price has gone down over the years, as our Canadian dollar is now equal in value to the U.S. one. These plants are all divisions of plants that the O’Byrnes approved of personally, – not seedlings. They are in large 1.5 and 2 gallon pots, and are priced at $29.95
