It is nearly November ! Soon we can say ‘Christmas is next month – time to get serious ! We are busy setting up our displays. Now that HOBBS is gone from Kerrisdale (after 38 years), I am starting to carry many of our favourite lines down at the nursery. These retro houses have cellophane windows, with a hole in the back to insert a few mini lights. I grew up with similar ones, and so did you, probably!

These ‘BEE’ soaps are made in Switzerland . We sold thousands of them at my old store in Kerrisdale. Now they are available at the nursery – everybody missed them so much ! White (milk), gold (honey) or green (calendula) – all smell delicious . They are $7.95 each
The Amarlyllis bulbs are here and the selection is the best ever. We always (only) order the top size available. Some weigh a few pounds each ! We have every colour, including lime green ! Pot them now for Christmas blooms. No dark period needed. Prices range from $12.95 to $24.95 each.
