December is here and we can finally not feel strange about seeing so much Christmas’ in the stores.  We have a very ‘HOBBS’ selection of lights and trims in the nursery now. It is  reminiscent  of the glory days of my nearly 40 years on West 41st Ave in Kerrisdale.  For those who miss my old stores, ( and Kerrisdale itself…) you will recognize many brands now for sale at the nursery . You have to come check us out !  We are open every day from 9-6. Little skiing hedgehogs are all handmade , with little knitted scarves, sweaters and toques. Six different types, $20.00 each

These wooden snowflakes (below) are all cut by laser and then glittered in tasteful colours.  They are very lightweight, and come in  a nice wooden box.  $36.00 for 12 snowflakes.

If you don’t have room for a big tree, consider these nostalgic reproduction glitter trees, shown below .  I remember having these  growing up  as a child in Winnipeg . A previous owner had left three in a cupboard in a large house we lived in, and I was not yet in grade one.
